Pure has opened its doors on February 2008 with the aim to provide the neighbourhood with a fine, elegant restaurant that provides simple, modern european- inspired bistro style food. Our small restaurant has an elegant simplicity, it provides two dining rooms, the main dining room with dark wooden floors and tables, black banquettes and white linen napkins.
The upstairs dining room is available for private functions with space for of up to 16.
Both enjoy a beautiful view to the water.

Our food, as the name suggests, is light with clean flavours, cooked with the best New Zealand products, topped up with european ingredients, influenced by the owners Swiss heritage and training.
There are frequently changes to the menu to keep the regulars happy and dishes seasonal.
Almost everything is home made, from bread over pasta to ice-creams and desserts.
The wood fired oven adds a smoky touch to many dishes.

Every dish comes with a wine recommendation that is available by the glass and the knowledgable staff is happy to help you find the right choices. As the restaurant has already come to the attention of many locals and food writers it is advised to book ahead as the small restaurant fills up very quickly.
